Mouse Pointer Double: Chrome Extension for Displaying a Copy of the Mouse Pointer
Mouse Pointer Double is a free Chrome extension developed by Richard Fridrich. It falls under the category of Browsers and is classified as an Add-ons & Tools subcategory. The extension allows users to display a copy of the mouse pointer on a webpage, specifically designed for use with Chromecast.
With Mouse Pointer Double, users can add a fake mouse pointer that follows the real mouse pointer on the active page. This feature is particularly useful when using Chromecast, as it allows users to see the mouse movement on the projected page.
To activate Mouse Pointer Double, users can either click on the browser action icon or use the default keyboard shortcut Alt+Shift+M (which can be edited at chrome://extensions/configureCommands).
This extension was created as a quick exercise, inspired by Frank Katzenberger's post on Google Plus. The source code for Mouse Pointer Double can be found on GitHub.
